Joining Siemens in 1996 working in the nuclear project management, responsible for civil engineering of nuclear plants in Germany and Eastern Europe.
From 1999 to 2007 as representative of Siemens Power Generation in Brussels and Berlin responsible for EU Energy and Environment Policy and heading the department of Enterprise Communications of Siemens Power Generation including Public Affairs.
Since July 2008 heading the department of Innovation Cooperations and Regulatory Affairs of Siemens Energy Management.
Member of several R&D related organizations such as:
- Board member of EU funding organization EUROGIA2020 (Low-carbon energy technologies)
- Board member of High Performance Computing Energy Solution Center in Karlsruhe (2009-13)
- Former task force head of EU ZEP (Zero Emission Fossil Fuel Power Plants, 2006-12).
